Hot Dog giveaways are a well-known event at the Vigo high schools.   If you want to see some excitement, you can follow Tim and a bunch of youth pastors around during the week of May 10-14 as they travel to North, South & West to hand out free hot dogs to students after school.  We’ll share some pictures afterwards, but you really have to be there to see the chaos and crazy hot-dog-grilling that ensues.

We plan for 200 kids at each school, but never know who we’re going to get!   This is a cooperative effort from YFC and many area churches.   Supplies we use include hot dogs, buns, ketchup, mustard, paper towels, cups, and lemonade mix.  If you would like to contribute, contact Tim or Bethany or call the office at 812-232-3781.

We’re busy preparing for the 8th Grade Graduation party on May 6th.  It will be held at Maryland Community Church after school on a (hopefully) sunny afternoon.  Kids will be bussed from the six Vigo County Middle Schools after school.  Pray that this will be a great time of fun and also connection as students have some extended time with leaders & youth pastors.   For more information, contact Tim or see the flier & permission slip.  All students who attend MUST have a signed permission slip.

Today is our monthly youth leader round table meeting.   Once a month they meet to check in on how clubs are going and to offer support to each other.   Right now they’re planning for 8th grade graduation that they’re hosting in May for Vigo County YFC students.
